As I wandered slowly in life;
As I pursued a never-ending strife
I eventually stopped, breath taken away;
My body shivered, the was no words to say...
All my senses, numb to any other flower;
I kept starring, knowing nothing was better;
I reached it and watered with care;
Everyday, for her, I'd leave my lair.
But one day as I brought water;
Her petals seemed awfully lower;
Refusing any compromise, fading to demise;
Assuring me she was not the only flower
That would catch my eyes.
I looked around, bright colors dancing
To the breeze, charming, singing;
No. I thought, gazing at my flower;
My heart, is already bounded to her...

I’ve been told in my life we have to wait to get what we want. I’ve been told that the best things come to those who wait. Well, flash news, it is not true. For 17 years, nearly 18 now, I’ve been waiting. Yes I lived heaven, just like I lived hell. And if there is one thing I’ve learned in this world that we should all remember, it’s that everything does not come all cooked right at your mouth. You have to make it happens, you have to take chances no matter what follows. Many people use the expression “YOLO” like idiots, but let’s be truthful to ourselves, we do only live once as far as we know and we should make every day worth it. Sometime, we shouldn’t question ourselves and do it. You want to be a singer, do it; you want to be the next Prime Minister of Canada, DO IT.
